Camping at the Padre Island National Seashore

Padre Island National Seashore has tent camping and R.V. camping sites available on the Gulf of Mexico side of North Padre Island. At the Bird Island Basin camping by the the Laguna Madre (or the backside of the Island) is available. Additionally camping is available on either North Beach or South Beach with primitive camping at Yarbourgh Pass (four wheel drive required). All campsites require a permit and are limited to a 14 day stay with a 48 hour break between stays.
